IMPORTANT
As per Ministerial Decree 04/24/2013, each participant must be in possession of one of the following certificates of suitability to practice clistic sports, valid during the trail period, issued by a sports medicine specialist:
Certificate of suitability for competitive sports practice for CYCLING
Certificate of suitability for practicing sports with high cardiovascular demands
The Mags Experience Unsupported is a Trail completely free of any constraints. You can choose your pace, the kilometres to be covered during the day and at night.
All participants of the Mags Experience Unsupported can freely choose the facilities along the Trail route.
The routes lend themselves to certain types of bike, the tracks (one Gravel and one Mtb) will include asphalt, long cart tracks, dirt climbs and wooded and rocky sections. One must be aware of one’s means of transport and technique.
The organisation recommends the use of a mountain bike, whether front, full, fat bike or Gravel, and reminds you that you are obliged to bring everything you need to tackle a Trail, i.e. everything you need for man and bike (spare parts, inner tubes, tools, etc.).
Along the route there will be many establishments to welcome you both for eating and sleeping. We don’t have any agreements with any of them, but just search on Booking or Google and you will be able to choose the facility that suits you best.
The organisation will not provide any assistance with luggage, it is all on your bike. Remember that the Mags Experience Abruzzo Trail has a loop route, so the start will also be your finish.
Mags points are mainly mountain huts, small village activities that will act as checkpoints during your trail (it will remain your choice whether to stop or not).
Registration for the Mags Experience Abruzzo Trail Unsupported will be completely managed via the proprietary platform on our website, once you click on Sign up, you will access the form to fill out.
Once the Mags Experience Abruzzo Trail has ended, each participant will have to procure his or her own means of transport for the return journey.
It is specified that, as this is a Trail with a loop route, it will be much easier to organise the return to one’s home.
Once the registration period has ended, it will not be possible in any way to participate in the Mags experience Abruzzo Trail. You will be promptly notified of the specific period in which you will be able to register.
A medical certificate is compulsory for participation in the MAGS EXPERIENCE. Without it, you will not be able to participate.
Competitive or non-competitive medical certificate (as long as it is high cardiovascular impact) issued by a sports medicine specialist can be submitted while filling out the Mags experience registration.
